Get it? Neobors? Like Neighbors but neo because neocities? Haha I'm so funny.

EverythingKris! This is my button! Feel free to download the button and add me to your own site :)

D-Man's Old Net Stories is some awesome sleuthing! He writes all about some rabbit holes he goes into, and I've got to recommend you check out Episode #4, The Magic Balloon.

You can join in and help discover some stuff too! Aside from that, D-Man's site is chock full of fascinating/relatable writings. Check him out!

RetroMaster94's website is SO Frutiger Metro, so 2000s, and inspired me to redesign my website layout. And they have amazing motion & logo designs, I thought they were fully real! Past sense "thought" because I saw a radio station logo redesign in my local area and realized it wasn't the same. But for a moment I truly thought, hell yeah that new redesign is cool!

Very professional and yet ...so full of personality !!

ALIENGARDEN's layout is so metal. I love the little game in the Journal tab!

Not only that, but their gallery is full of beautiful images they've taken.

Dimwit, Another webmaster that inspired me to redesign my site. Henry's command of color is so fun, and there's actually so many pages to explore. This is true old web! I FREAKING LOVE THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE EXPLORE IT!!!
Humanfinny is another totally Frutiger website! The site is based on an actual old Japanese site if I recall correctly, so it's no surprise this feels so classic. There's a lot of tabs to explore for yourself! Check them out!

N introduces a lot of their pages with a narrative which is fun and gets you in the exact mood they want you while you surf their directory.

I've just started reading Anna Karenina and saw their review, and I'm definitely more curious as to how the book turns out after reading N's little blurb about it!

Make sure to peek in their Blog tab in the directory :)

Avi's website is like nothing I've seen before! Their layout is amazing and there's no doubt they know their way around a freakin computer! Play some of her music on her playlist on the left while perusing the album review she has up. Awesome!

Andi provides us with so many textures. I always love websites that feel like I can run the pads of my fingers over them. She hosts a lot of writings, which is a very, very close peer into what most would call "mundane." But I agree with the subject matter that Andi chooses to tackle, this "mundanity." Is that a word? So much beauty lies in the mundane.

What I really like as well is that they do a similar, "odd" way of sectioning off parts of their website as me: there's a Landline, Scrapbook, and Armoire! The video in the Landline section is super mega cool. As of writing (9/12/25), the Scrapbook and Armoire are still a mystery, but I look forward to seeing what it's all about :)

I'm always on the hunt for organic book reviews ... so I had to peruse Myrtle's digital bookshelf! I bought a copy of Perfume because of their review of its prose being so vibrant, but haven't yet begun to read... Gotta finish my current book first! :)

May I add that they're a fantastic artist with such a distinct style in composing faces... their choice of brushes is also so scrumptious. Great!!

inthemeantime welcomes us to their garden, their own colorful little world.

The garden reminds me a lot of the books I'd read as a kid; it has that scrapbooky style that is pretty much a literal feast for the eyes. For me, the highlight is currently the portal, which encompasses a huge collection of fun+useful links!

I think it's also important to note that inthemeantime is a chef! Check out their Lemon Pie with Meringue Topping on Skep's Virtual Potluck Day! It looks so yum! Feeling real hungry while writing this...

Alice's website is a "love letter to the old web!" She's designed it to look like a Windows XP desktop with a whole bunch of cool windows open, some of which are redesigned old sites made to look like Avocado-branded stuff.

Avocadoland even has its own record label, Avocado Records. Kind of an MTV feel. It feels like actually surfing different websites. She's recently even launched avoBuy, an eBay replica that — instead of selling anything, provides us with free cool resources she's found on the internet or made herself. Totally cool!
